Lead Scheduling Specialist

General clerical duties such as answering multi-line phone system, managing waitlist, and sending notification letters. Greeting patients and entering appointments into the EMR system. Making sure patients fill out necessary forms. Monitor daily quotas, waitlists, call queues, and audits. Professionally de-escalate minor patient complaints. Supervise and train scheduling staff. What We Need from You: High School Diploma or GED required. 2 years of healthcare experience preferred. Previous leadership experience preferred Demonstrated ability to use MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Spanish-speaking highly preferred. Excellent communication both on the phone and in person. Provide outstanding customer service to meet the needs of patients. Experience with EMR operating system such as Athena highly preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology and shorthand.
