Zurich North America is currently hiring a Lead Pega Developer and this person will work in a hybrid schedule from our Schaumburg, IL North America Headquarters.
Responsibilities:
Develop Pega applications for Zurich North America claims systems which are internal and external facing for customers.
Interact with business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the software development life cycle
Development in a Agile/Scrum development methodology
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree and 5 or more years of experience in the Software Programming Applications area OR
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in the Software Programming Applications area OR
Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 5 or more years of experience in the Software Programming Applications area AND
Experience assisting with design, coding benchmark testing, debugging and documentation of programs
Experience working with multiple phases of software systems programming applications
Experience working with multiple programming languages
Preferred Qualifications:
Pega Certification preferred.
5 plus years' experience developing applications on Pega Systems
Insurance Industry Experience
Experience in working in a distributed team environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
