Lead Microbiology Medical Technologist

Position Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Technical Coordinator for our Microbiology department. As a Technical Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in overseeing various technical duties, providing support and guidance to our laboratory team, and collaborating closely with clinical staff to ensure seamless operations.
Your responsibilities will include conducting microbiology bench duties while also managing administrative tasks such as quality control review, regulatory compliance, policy development, and participation in hospital committees. Additionally, you'll serve as a remote resource for our offsite system laboratories, contributing your expertise and support as needed.
Qualifications for the Lead Medical Technologist position include a Bachelor's degree in medical technology or a related field, ASCP Certification, and a solid background in microbiology.
