JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Program CNC machines HAAS ST 20 Fadal WMC4020 and AkiraSeiki SL20 using latest version of Mastercam software. Ensure adherence to company policies safety standards quality and good housekeeping practices. Train other machinists and production associates on machine operations and setup. Set up and operate CNC HAAS ST 20 Fadal WMC4020 and AkiraSeiki SL20. Set up and operate conventional vertical milling machines such as Bridgeport and Tree. Set up and operate convention engine lathes such as Hardinge and Yam. Set up and operate surface grinders and drilling machines. Set up and operate CNC Hardinge lathe HLVH. Design and make custom tooling needed for machine setups or to fabricate parts. Maintain specifications by observing drilling grooving and cutting including turning facing knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls. Calculate requirements using basic math geometry and trigonometry. Plan machining by studying work orders blueprints engineering plans. Work with Engineering and Production to optimize designs. Adhere to production schedules. Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process and implement efficiencies when possible. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma 23 years of CNC programming experience with Mastercam software. 35 years of CNC and manual machining experience. Experience with AutoCAD software. Strong math problem solving and analytical skills. Time management skills and ability to work to deadlines. Team focused and open to learning new skills. Attention to detail.
