Position SummaryLead Groundsworker– Under general supervision and in cooperation with the manager of Landscape Services, incumbent prioritizes and coordinates the work of the Parking Maintenance and Events team, assigns, directs and assists work of the team, supports Parking Services and performs other tasks as assigned by the manager in support of the university and Facilities Services.Objectives - Provide an "Industry Best Practice" maintenance organization to the SDSU Community.Expectations - Properly functioning equipment and a safe and clean working environment. Thorough and accurate accounting of time and materials. Consistent meeting of university needs in a timely and professional manner with increasingly improved skill. Follow-up on every project or task to ensure that all items are completed to the satisfaction of the FS Director. Maintains a responsible attendance record and consistently meets deadlines. Builds and maintains internal and external customer satisfaction with the products and services offered by the organization.
