We seek a highly skilled and experienced Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a senior-level professional with a proven track record in designing, implementing, and managing complex infrastructure solutions. This role requires expertise in Windows Server, Azure, Active Directory, Group Policy, networking, LAN/WAN, and server management. The Lead Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for Server, Azure, Active Directory, Group Policy, networking, LAN/WAN, and server management and for overseeing all aspects of our infrastructure, ensuring stability, security, and scalability.
Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage enterprise-level infrastructure solutions, including Windows Server, Azure, Active Directory, Group Policy, networking, LAN, WAN, and server management.
Lead and mentor a team of infrastructure engineers, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise.
Develop and implement best practices for infrastructure design, deployment, and maintenance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of infrastructure initiatives with business objectives.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to improve efficiency, performance, and security.
Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and provide timely resolution.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.
Participate in on-call rotation and respond to infrastructure-related emergencies as needed.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in a senior-level infrastructure engineering role.
Expertise in Windows Server administration, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Proficiency in Azure cloud services, including VMs, networking, storage, and security.
Extensive experience with Active Directory design, implementation, and administration.
Strong knowledge of Group Policy management and troubleshooting.
In-depth understanding of networking principles and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs.
Hands-on experience with LAN/WAN technologies and devices.
Proven track record in server management, including virtualization, clustering, and backup/recovery solutions.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Certifications such as MCSE, Azure Administrator, or CCNA are preferred.
