What you'll doBecome part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the all-electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:Develop and publish the specifications and design requirements for the vehicle to meet the corrosion and water / air leakage requirements for all intended markets of sale.Responsible for evaluating vehicle designs and assessing the ability of the design to meet corrosion and water / air leakage requirements.Provide guidance to the engineering team on changes needed to meet the corrosion and water / air leakage requirements.Support the development of new specifications, requirements, and quality documents (Boundary diagram, p-diagram, DFMEA, etc.) related to vehicle corrosion and BIW sealing.Develop requirements for virtual and physical verification, including lab and field testing.Lead/participate in the root cause analysis and resolution of issues related to air and water leaks and corrosion protection.Proactively stay attuned to the customer experience and propose system improvements accordingly.Support the creation of new Best Practices and Lessons Learned.Be a key team member and liaison with all Scout functionsLocation & Travel Expectations: The responsibilities of this role require attendance at in-person meetings and events regularly. This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Novi, MI.
