NDCL Lead Robotics Coach
The Opportunity: Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin School, a thriving, coeducational Catholic college preparatory high school sponsored by the Sisters of Notre Dame, seeks a Lead Robotics Coach who demonstrates proficiency in program building and will support students as they pursue excellence. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a thriving co-curricular program at one of the finest Catholic Schools in Northeast Ohio. In 2024, the NDCL robotics team placed third in the State tournament, captained a semifinalist alliance, and captured the Innovate Award for creative robot design. We are looking for a leader who will continue to promote excellence and take this program to the next level.
The Role:
Model, reference, and honor the Catholic mission, vision, and core values of NDCL across all interactions at the school Oversee the organization, management, development, recruitment, and leadership of the NDCL robotics program Work closely with colleagues to develop a culture of excellence and pride Partner with the robotics team, assistant coaches, administration, students, and parents in support of students Instruct students in game strategy and rules knowledge Promote and cultivate a team environment in which students demonstrate and uphold the NDCL core values of justice, respect, integrity, community, and excellence Construct travel schedules and supervise all after-school NDCL robotics practices and competitions Keep accurate records of all contests, information, and statistics Essential Skills:

Prior experience teaching, supervising, or coaching high school robotics. Experience in partnering and collaborating with colleagues and parents. Availability to attend after school practices (starting at 3:00 PM) and weekend tournaments. Reports To: NDCL Principal Status: Contracted Coaching Position
