Lead Cashier

Job summary
The Lead Cashier is responsible for guest transactions and maintaining cashwrap standards.They assist in training new cashiers and cross-training other associates.They drive loyalty results and contribute to achieving goals.

Responsibilities
• Contribute to meeting store goals for sales, loyalty, and retail shrink.• Provide exceptional guest service and personalize service to their needs.• Handle sales, refunds, exchanges, and perform makeup applications.• Book appointments for services and in-store events.• Maintain cashwrap displays and supplies.• Support teammates and stay informed about industry trends.• Share benefits of loyalty program with guests and lead associates to do the same.• Train new cashiers and cross-train other associates.• Engage and influence peers to achieve productivity and performance goals.• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards.• Complete all transactions, maintain store cleanliness, and minimize loss.• Work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
• High school diploma preferred.• 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.• Proven ability to delegate, multi-task, and problem-solve.• Knowledge and passion for guest service and selling.• Experience exceeding sales goals and training new hires.
