Role Summary Rivian is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Analyst, Marketing Planning . The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in shaping and executing Rivian's marketing strategy and planning through data-driven insights and advanced analytics. You will work closely with marketing and act as a thought partner, helping teams make data driven decisions that are in line with our strategy. Responsibilities Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing planning strategy aligned with Rivian's overall business objectives . Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand marketing goals and translate them into actionable planning initiatives. Utilize advanced analytics tools to analyze marketing performance, customer behavior, and market trends. Provide actionable insights to optimize marketing strategies, campaigns, and initiatives. Lead the development of marketing budgets and forecasts through data-driven methodologies and complex model ing . Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure marketing effectiveness against predefined targets. Establish clear forecasts and targets for marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business goals. Provide recommendations for resource allocation based on ROI analysis and performance metrics. Process complex problems into clear recommendations in memos and PowerPoint presentations for senior leadership Work closely with marketing, finance, and other departments to ensure alignment and collaboration on planning initiatives. Utilize advanced analytics tools to analyze marketing performance, customer behavior, and market trends. Act as a strategic partner, providing insights to drive decision-making across the organization. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Analytics, Marketing, Statistics). Advanced degree preferred. 5 + years of experience in marketing analytics, with a focus on strategic planning and data-driven decision-making. Expertise in analytics tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R) Proficient in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite ( e.g. Excel, PowerPoint) Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex analytics findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Self-motivated and execution oriented. Ability to execute at a high level of quality in a fast-paced, ever - changing environment. Meticulous attention to detail and organizational abilities? Ability to work with ambiguity and build process from the ground up? Excellent written communication skills. Ability to create compelling presentations and confidently convey insights through storytelling. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects under strict deadlines? Pay Disclosure Salary Range for California Based Applicants : $150,000-$173,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
