Military Veterans and individuals with disabilities are encouraged to apply!  About This Role: Role Overview:  Best Practice Associates, LLC dba of Tria Federal (Tria) is seeking a talented Lead Analyst.  Performs a variety of broad engineering tasks which involve design and implementation, including personnel, hardware, software, and support facilities and equipment. Supervises a contractor team of engineers and subject matter expertise through project completion. At least one lead analyst will have technical editor capabilities to assist as needed with the generation of test documents and reports.
Responsibilities: Assists SG5T test directors, providing operational test expertise, test planning, cost estimation, test program time estimation, test data collection, analysis, and reporting Supports SG5T test directors in early tester involvement through participation on HPTs assuring testability of AFMS capability requirement documents, test evaluation strategy documents, test cost estimates, and test evaluation master plans Assists SG5T test directors to compose and execute assessment execution documents, data collection sheets, collect and collate test data, analyze collected test data, craft test reports. Uses established SG5T templates, flow charts and timelines to accomplish the above to meet test director deliverables Participates in analysis of test data collected and to make recommendations to the test director regarding suitability and effectiveness of equipment tested Identification of equipment and systems under test malfunctions and issues requiring creation and submission of deficiency reports. Reports are accurately completed and submitted within established timelines for action by the requisite test director and ITT Looks for opportunities to combine operational and developmental test events to create integrated test opportunities. Suggests improvement to test schedules and overall efforts to decrease time and cost to the assigned test director Maintains familiarity and competency in latest DOT&E, Joint and Air Force acquisition and test policies and instructions Supports SG5T Immersion Brief and Non-Traditional Assessment Methods training courses (1-2 days) for SG5T Proposes updates and improvements to SG5T test templates, procedures, and policies to test directors and the SG5T Chief in order to improve quality, performance, decrease time or costs of operational test and evaluation Proposes updates and improvements to SG5T test templates, procedures, and policies to test directors, Lead Contract Program Manager and SG5T Chief in order to improve quality, performance, decrease time or costs of operational test Support strategic or tactical market research on medical technology. Research may be at the strategic or tactical level as defined in DoD Standardization Document SD-5 Market Research: Gathering Information About Commercial Products and Services. Format and expectations for level of detail will be addressed prior to the start of research through the use of a detailed Market Research Plan which will include clearly defined scope, deliverables, and deadlines The "Need-to-Have" Skills & Qualifications: Microsoft Office Products Professional Certifications:

Years of Professional Experience:
At least 2 years of work experience
Required Technical/Business Tools Experience: Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign/InCopy The "Nice-to-Have" Skills & Qualifications: Prior/current military experience in their career area is highly desirable Have a record of Defense Acquisition University (DAU) course completion in classes and continuous learning in the following areas: test, acquisition, systems engineering, contracting, market research, and/or requirements Years of Professional Experience: Will have at least two years' experience as a lead analyst or knowledge in operational test and evaluation. In addition, they will have a record of Defense Acquisition University (DAU) course completion in classes and continuous learning in the following areas: test, acquisition, systems engineering, contracting, market research, and/or requirements
  Physical Requirements: Occasional grounds maintenance of a 12-acre mock field site, including but not limited to walkway snow and ice removal, office building maintenance, light construction, painting, and repair. Several soft shelters (tents) are permanently utilized on site for various purposes and require occasional maintenance to include replacing tentage frames, covers, and flooring. 40lb sand bagging of soft shelters for environmental protection is required to include filling, lifting, placement, replacement. These efforts are typically a few days a month of enjoyable team building outside activities, weather permitting ?
