Responsibilities
• Conduct research and draft responses for post-conviction motions• Draft memorandums on questions of law for direct appeals• Examine, prepare, and process technical legal documents• Assemble and prepare various legal documents• Provide assistance to client attorneys in trial preparations• Compose original letters and produce written documents• Establish and maintain files for client assistant attorneys• Utilize office software applications for document production• Assemble exhibits and organize files for disposition• Integrate output from different software types into text
Requirements
• Three to five years of litigation support experience• Knowledge of federal and state court systems• Excellent written and oral communication skills• Thorough knowledge of legal research tools• Familiarity with various computer applications• Hands-on familiarity with ESI tools and eDiscovery procedures• Law Degree
