As a Laboratory Test Intern, you will have the opportunity to support our lab operations group by providing hands-on product and firmware testing as well as documentation and design support. As a Design/Test Engineering Intern, your day may include: Testing firmware and software validation Product and alternate parts testing in the E-lab. Mechanical product performance testing Air Filter testing in our ASHRAE lab Project support across engineering groups as needed Supporting test plans and testing specific for our devices Participating in the design process and learning hands-on prototype building Processing and creating technical documentation Researching thermal sciences and controls Desired Qualifications: 2-3 years completed towards bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or other STEM based major Experience in or desire to work inside a lab environment Creative, curious, and passionate about your field of study Collaborative and willing to work positively with other team members Ability to complete projects and document work Strong written and verbal communication abilities AprilAire does not accept unsolicited resumes from search firms.
