Job Summary If you're interested in Laboratory Technician jobs, then this is the best role for you. This work is in the Vegetable Quality Lab, R&D.
Job Description Technicians will be expected to do sample preparation, whole vegetable processing, data input into LIMS system(s), and general lab maintenance (dishes, chemical/consumable inventory, labeling). This is to collect quantitative data for fruit/vegetable characteristics. There will be opportunities for working with analytical equipment as well as pipetting, solvent preparation, and waste management. Skills Required 1-2 years of experience in either general lab background or food handling background, familiar with using computer programs for data input (LIMS system or excel) Preferences: Plant background, analytical chemistry background Education/Training/Certifications Bachelor's Degree: emphasis in food science, agriculture, biology, or chemistry backgrounds Additional Requirements Must be able to pass drug screen & criminal background check Shift Start Time - 08:00 AM Benefits of working as a Laboratory Technician in Job, WV:
