Responsibilities Work according to manufacturing processes in accordance with Regulatory Agencies (USDA, OSHA, Safety), as well as Company Policies and Procedures
Supply Inventory and Stocking while maintaining proper records, Ensuring First In First Out (FIFO), and properly disposing of expired items.
Ensure raw materials received are QA released before they enter the production areas
Order materials and perform cycle counts
Thaw frozen materials, following thawing protocols (FIFO), and fill out records.
Maintain inventory, ensuring proper records, and disposal of expired items for
lab dishware and equipment
gowning shelves and supplies
sterilized and labelled ampoules
in the coolers and freezers with daily checks, including thawing materials on schedule
Fill out daily temperature logs for all central rooms: Prep rooms, Cooler, Freezer, Hallways, Kitchens, Nitro Room, Label room
Check temperatures and liquid levels in storage tanks and fill out documentation
Prepare labels and ampoules for production
Visual inspection of final products and documentation
Clean and Autoclave dishware and equipment sent out from the labs. Keep dishware and equipment separated by labs while keeping accurate records
Clean and disinfect areas according to established protocols. Follow the guidelines and ensure updated labels and proper disposal of chemicals
Maintain clean and organized working stations
Empty waste receptacles, dirty lab suits, biohazard bins throughout the Central area, following waste removal and biohazard bin protocols
Assist in other areas as needed
Requirements Education - High school diploma or GED required
Prefer experience in a lab or in manufacturing. Beneficial but not required.
Excellent English communication skills
Able to work in a team, prioritize tasks, troubleshoot minor issues
90% of the day is spent standing, must be able to lift 50 lbs
Must be able to tolerate hot and cold working areas
