Our Medical Directors and seasoned technical staff have many years of experience in clinical testing and test development. Through our close partnership with the Knight BioLibrary and Histopathology Shared Resource Laboratories, research investigators can gain access to human biological specimens, histology, and immunohistochemistry services.

Duties include but are not limited to:
Wash laboratory glassware and other equipment/instruments. Distribute clean glassware and equipment. Maintain inventory of reagents and supplies for the laboratory. Make and aliquot reagents used in the laboratory per protocol. Monitor temperatures for incubators, refrigerators, and freezers. Monitor eye wash stations and diH2O purity. Retrieve specimens and/or charts as needed by technologists and the director. Assist technologists and directors with miscellaneous tasks as requested. Follows established safety procedures in all areas of the lab. High school diploma and at least two years of college science courses plus one year of college math or computer courses OR High school diploma and successful completion of a lab Assistant Training Program including clinical lab experience Ability to prioritize multiple tasks at one time Excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills: both written and verbal Ability to work independently and as part of a team while being collaborative in resolving problems Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Access, Word, and PowerPoint) on Window OS. Ability to accurately type 60wpm Must have demonstrated excellent customer service skills both on the phone and in person Must possess energy and drive to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously Ability to use tact and diplomacy to maintain effective working relationships At least two years of college lab science courses, plus one year of college math or computer courses Clinical laboratory work experience including general knowledge of laboratory terminology, equipment, materials and techniques, and safety Experience with sterilizing procedures strongly preferred Working knowledge of Oracle Apply online.
