By offering specialized, accessible, cost-effective healthcare services, we keep our patients at the center!Why us?Enjoy the perks of a provider-owned practice with the support of a large healthcare management company.We offer a comprehensive benefits package available on the first of the month following 30 days of employment.Our company-wide growth means consistent opportunities for advancement.Core ResponsibilitiesResponsible for specimen processing, test performance, and reporting lab resultsRunning a chemistry analyzer for oral fluid drug screeningOral fluid sample preparation for clinical testingFollow laboratory's procedures for specimen handling/processing, test analysis, reporting, and maintaining records of resultsEnsure quality control in collecting specimens, ensure appropriate sampling, and maintain accurate record keepingMaintain laboratory instrumentation and suppliesComply with all laboratory policies and OSHSA regulations related to safety and cleanlinessPractice safe work habits, including complying with all safety, health, and environmental rules and regulationsParticipate in routine proficiency testing for the labPerform all duties as assignedQualificationsBachelors degree in Chemistry or Biology required1 year or more experience with high-complexity clinical testing requiredExperience with clinical testing and instrumentation (chemistry analyzer) preferredWhat are we looking for?Understanding of medical laboratory safetyKnowledge of medical laboratory equipment uses and maintenanceMaintain patient, team member, and employer confidentiality; Comply with all HIPPA regulations.Ability to adapt easily to changing conditions and work responsibilitiesCapability to understand and interpret documents such as professional journals, safety rules, procedure manuals, and government regulations.Proficient computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, e-mail systems, and web-based programs.Possess strong and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Schedule8-hour shiftsMonday to Friday 8am-5pm
