Kellanova is seeking a Key Account Executive; supporting Raley's, The Save Market Companies (Save Mart, Lucky, and FoodMaxx). In addition to The Super Store Industries/SSI distributor on our Kellanova business. In this exciting role, you will use your selling skills to partner with key decision makers and drive business results across Assortment, Merchandising, Pricing, as well as Shelving.
As an integral part of a Kellanova West team, you'll create sales solutions driven by consumer insights. Maximize and maintain the growth strategy for your account—all while building your expertise and network.
This role is remote-based but candidates ideally need to be based in Northern California. This position provides participation in the Kellanova Auto Reimbursement program for individuals driving at least 5,000 business miles annually.
A Taste of What You Will Be Doing
Account Development – You will develop an annual customer plan that sets objectives to support our full portfolio of brands through merchandising, promotions, pricing, new & seasonal product launches, Omnichannel programs, and strategic partner initiatives.
Customer Collaboration – Win with our customer's by becoming a strategic business partner. Your superior business knowledge will be a resource to the customer as you work to deliver exceptional results.
Strategic Partnerships – Create partnerships/networks and collaborate with customer key decision makers as well as internal cross-functional partners to identify opportunities and develop ideas that deliver results.
Analytics – Knowing your business will be imperative in driving profitable sales growth. Performing pre and post promotion analysis and revising future programs as necessary will be a key to your success.
Budget Management – You will be responsible for managing trade dollars within your assigned budgets to drive profitability and deliver customer specific trade plans.
We're Looking for Someone With
Significant related account management experience
Ability to develop, present, and execute customer plans with a focus on customer communication and account penetration
Ability to understand market dynamics, forecast results
Analyze and interpret data (i.e. Nielsen / IRI)
Strong understanding of trade strategy, retail operation, and negotiation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
A flexible work schedule and the ability to travel overnight up to 15% of the time may vary depending on the location of residency. Salary Range for California residents: $115,520 to $167,280
