Job Summary:
Elevate your career in this dynamic role, dedicated to enhancing productivity and driving excellence in equipment quality improvements. We are seeking a qualified candidate with a profound knowledge of production parts, the ability to train and mentor production leaders, and expertise in creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Essential Functions:
Strategic Productivity Enhancement: Provide accurate productivity data (OP rate, Direct flow rate) for each production line and develop Kaizen plans for optimal efficiency, addressing worst-case scenarios. Organizational Excellence: Correct and organize problem points in the C/M sheet weekly, ensuring a streamlined and efficient floor operation. Training and Confirmation: Train team leaders, confirming Machine Time (MT) and Cycle Time (CT) of all equipment on a weekly basis. Performance Improvement: Implement countermeasures if production lines deviate from MT and CT plans, ensuring continuous improvement. Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with production managers to address defect items and maintain seamless coordination in the production process. Daily Kaizen Activity: Actively engage in one Kaizen activity daily, fostering a culture of ongoing improvement. Data Compilation and Reporting: Compile Before & After data on Kaizen sheets, presenting it at Productivity Improvement Meetings bi-monthly. Operational Excellence: Lead 5S activities to promote a clean, organized, and efficient work environment. Adaptability: Perform additional duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to contributing to the team's success. Other Functions:
Effective Communication: Interact professionally with co-workers, customers, outside vendors, and government officials. Work Environment: Maintain a clean working environment and actively contribute to continuous improvement in processes and procedures. Safety Advocacy: Promote a safe working environment for all associates, emphasizing communication on safety, quality, and production issues with Assistant Manager/Manager. Requirements:
Education: Two to four-year technical degree desired. Experience: One to two years of experience in a Production Environment / Data Collection role. Skills: Strong understanding of Production lines and Data entry. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Working Conditions: Ability to type, bend, twist, reach, perform repetitive arm movements, lift up to 30 pounds, stand on concrete for extended periods, work mandatory overtime, and withstand temperatures of up to 100 degrees.
