K- Regional Access Coach- Center For Literacy, Educ & Employment

K-8 Regional Access Coach/Specialist The K-8 Regional Access Coach/Specialist will work closely with key stakeholders at the Office of Special Populations at the Tennessee Department of Education (TDOE) and will be an integral partner with the department in their implementation of the K-8 Access for All Learning Network (AALN), which provides training and support for students with disabilities across the state. A person in this position has knowledge of instruction and intervention for students ages 3-22 in Tennessee. This position will support selected districts with implementation of training principles through interpreting directives, assessing performance, designing training, coaching, direct observation, and evaluating. The goal for the K-8 Regional Access Coaches is to interpret state directives to improve access and scaffolds to high-quality instructional materials for students with disabilities.
This position will require working from a home office and frequent travel to assigned districts in TN. This is a contract grant-funded position with an anticipated funding end date of June 30, 2027.
