Attention to detail is imperative to be successful and hit KPIs (key performance indicators). Team members can only make one mistake every 400 lines picked/packed. Dangerous Goods 49 CFR S172.704 (a)(1-5) experience a plus. International Shipping experience a plus.Pick - Go to the correct location and verify material and SKU#. Pick quantity on the pick tag (make sure it is the same) and make sure that it matches what was physically picked.Sort - Sort material (correct SKU and Quantity) to the proper customer/staging laneattention to detail needed to be successful when sortingPack - Package orders/materials to handle transit and avoid damagepallatizing and strapping palletsLabel - Place correct shipping labels on packages to ensure orders ship to correct customerneeds to be comfortable in working with lap top computers to generate labelsLoad Trucks - Use forklift or pallet jack to load trucks for shippingInbound:Will need to operate forklift equipment (counterbalance fork lifts - reach, dock stocker, and cherry pickers). Will need to operate counterbalance stand up dock stocker.Put Away - Put away SKUs in correct location in accordance with the label while also verifying the put away quantity latches the label/system.Repack - overpack commodity SKUs that are more receptable to damage to support shippingmay have to refer to SOPs to ensure proper overpack methodsTHIS IS WHAT YOU'LL NEED:1+ years relevant experience in warehouse operations: shipping, receiving, inventory control, goods receipt, documentation, issue out, escalations/resolutions. High volume, automotive or start-up experience strongly preferred.Dangerous Good Handling Training in accordance with 49 CFR S172.704 (a)(1-5)Experience executing operations in a high velocity environment. Able to track multiple priorities simultaneously.Experience motivating team members in constructive manner.Experience using a common ERP or WMS system, such as SAP, Oracle, etc.Active forklift certificationMVR Check is RequiredHigh school diploma or GED required.
