Responsibilities
• Negotiate pricing and supplier contract terms and conditions• Develop understanding of suppliers and capabilities• Work with suppliers to develop target agreements• Manage supplier relationships to meet quality, service, and price standards• Develop strategic procurement solutions• Participate in cross-functional team efforts• Create effective supplier negotiation strategies• Negotiate transportation costs• Coordinate logistics with suppliers, forwarders, and carriers• Expected Travel - 10%
Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as buyer of non-production material preferred• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management/Business• Intermediate skill level in Excel, Word, and Power Point• Experience using SAP preferred• Strong interpersonal and communication skills• Experience in successful supplier negotiations• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize, and multi-task• EOE/M/F/D/V
