Our client, an entrepreneurial and growing mid-sized, full-service firm with a strong culture seeks a talented Junior Broker to support their retail tenant-representation business based out of Charlotte, NC.
This is a unique opportunity to serve as the "right-hand" and "air traffic controller" of a highly-successful CRE Broker & Entrepreneur as they continue to build and scale their master broker business nationally supporting the strategic expansion of top-tier brands.
This role requires an understanding and fluency in the language of commercial real estate, familiarity with deal-making processes related to retail leasing and investment sales, and the ability to adapt and learn in a fast-paced environment.
As this role will interact with high profile clients, collaborative brokers in other markets, and business leaders, a high-level of poise, gravitas, and professional etiquette are a must.
A day in the life of a successful Junior Broker includes, but is not limited to:
Managing client re lationships & data – interacting over the phone/in-person meetings, tracking referrals, proactively monitoring follow-up, and professionally representing the firm on calls and in person
Assisting with live deals - partnering with the CRE Broker on the management of the full-cycle of leasing and investment sales transactions, communicating with all parties involved, and pipeline management
Leveraging technology systems & processes – maintaining client and deal-level data, market intelligence, and general business information
Marketing - collaborating with internal team for team & deal marketing materials, proactively monitoring and suggesting local and national industry events for branding purposes, attending events as needed
Special projects - working closely with the CRE Broker on ad-hoc projects that may arise

The ideal candidate possesses the following experience & qualities:
1-2 years' prior commercial real estate experience - retail leasing and/or investment sales preferred, but not required
Passion for the CRE industry, and a strong handle on its unique vocabulary & concepts
Personable, proactive, organized & detail-oriented
Strong written & verbal communication skills
Real Estate License preferred, but not required
CCIM or other industry designations (or in process) preferred, but not required
Technologically savvy with an understanding of platforms like MS Office, SmartSheet, and industry related (CoStar, PlacerAI, etc.) preferred
