Responsibilities
• Systems administration of desktop and server systems• Desktop system management involving security and OS installation• Support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems• Problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution• Installation of hardware and network connections• Isolating and resolving hardware and software problems• Configuring network components and enhancing operating systems• Software installations and upgrades• Management of multiple linked databases• Maintenance of data center equipment• Testing of backup and recovery plans• Ensuring systems are secure and adhering to guidelines• Documentation, operational procedures, and system availability
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field, or 6 additional years of experience• 8+ years of related software development experience• Must have Security+ certification or DoD 8570 Level II equivalent• Experience in UNIX, Windows, and/or Storage administration• Strong documentation and customer support skills• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment• Desired skills include experience in imagery intelligence domain and scripting• Knowledge of databases, network administration, and network configuration management• Must have a valid US passport
