Responsibilities: Ensure the work being performed is professional and conforms to existing national and local building codes. Work cooperatively with team members to complete residential solar installations. Identify and restore system components to resolve electrical issues. Oversee the lead electrical system installations that interconnect the solar array to the grid. Ensure the work performed is of the highest quality and is compliant with current NEC and local codes. Work with crew members, homeowners or business owners to correct any system issues while supporting solar equipment installation. Qualifications: Valid state or national electrician license Knowledge of all current and updated NEC codes Experience replacing residential distribution panels and electrical services. Working knowledge and experience with all required tools associated with electrical trade. Ability to read and interpret single line drawings. Must be comfortable working from heights and ladders. Previous solar experience preferred but not required. Employee must adhere to Sun Solar's rules and safety guidelines as stated in the employee handbook.
