Requirement : Joint Language, Regional Expertise, and Culture (LREC) Subject Matter Expert
Job Description: Forge is seeking qualified subject matter expertise related to the DoD joint planning process to provide Language, Regional Expertise, and Culture (LREC) support to both the Joint Staff and Combatant Commands to support the development of operational plans. This work supports the Defense Language and National Security Education Office (DLNSEO) through the integration and prioritization of
Key Responsibilities : Key responsibilities of the candidate will be (but aren't limited to):
Joint plan and policy analysis through the Doctrine, Organization, Training, Material, Leadership and Education, Personnel, Facilities, and Policy (DOTMLPF-P) processes. Integration of LREC priorities and capabilities into the joint planning process. Familiarity and ability to work through the Joint Capabilities Requirements Manager (JCRM), and Joint Operation Planning and Execution System (JOPES) processes to analyze demand, and articulate LREC capability gaps. Ability to identify and extract relevant LREC information from joint OPLANs/CONPLANs. Familiarity and ability to leverage Capabilities Based Requirements Identification Process (CBRIP) data, Language Readiness Index (LRI) data, and information learned through engagements with CCMD subject matter experts. Qualifications/Requirements: The Candidate must be able to think strategically and act tactically and display strong analytical and critical thinking skills. They must also build strong cross-group working relationships and demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. The Candidate must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities.
We are looking for candidates with background as planners at the Joint Staff and/or CCMD Headquarters; individuals responsible for the assignment, apportionment, and allocation of forces; and/or as individuals who have provided LREC support to DOD Components.
Minimum Qualifications: US Citizen ACTIVE/SECRET security clearance (or higher) is required. 5+ years of joint planning/CCMD experience Highly Desired Qualifications: TS with SCI eligibility security clearance preferred. 10+ years of joint planning/CCMD experience 5+ years experience providing LREC support to DOD Components. Global Force Management/ allocation of forces experience desired. Job: F/T
