Joc Project Manager

Job Description

A leading construction company in Illinois is searching for a JOC Project Manager to oversee the full cycle of construction projects that focus on maintenance and infrastructure improvement across various public and commercial entities. They are looking for someone with at least 5 years of project management experience, preferably in Job Order Contracting who has excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Pay Range:

$90, 000 - $150, 000 DOE

Responsibilities

Oversee the complete project lifecycle, from estimation and bidding through to project management and completion
Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and client requirements
Engage in budget proposals, negotiations, and approvals with the internal management team and external clients
Coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met
Utilize specific project management software for estimating, bidding, and project administration

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with a strong preference for those with specific experience in Job Order Contracting (JOC)
Proficiency in industry-specific software for project estimation and management
A solid understanding of construction processes, including bidding, project management, and contract administration
Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred;significant relevant experience may substitute for education
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a commitment to high standards of work and attention to detail
