We are in immediate need for a Job Estimator for a leading remodeling company in the Albuquerque area. This position will play a key role in the project planning process by accurately assessing project requirements, estimating costs, and creating comprehensive proposals for our client. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction and remodeling processes, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Responsibilities For Job Estimator :
Conduct thorough site visits to assess project scope, existing conditions, and client needs Collaborate with clients, architects, designers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for project estimation Analyze project plans, specifications, and blueprints to determine materials, labor, and equipment requirements Utilize industry-standard estimating software and tools to generate accurate cost estimates and proposals Identify and quantify potential risks, contingencies, and value engineering opportunities Prepare detailed take-offs and material lists for procurement and scheduling purposes Qualifications For Job Estimator :
Proven experience as a job estimator in the construction or remodeling industry Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications Strong mathematical and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interreact with clients, vendors, and team members Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards Compensation For Job Estimator :
$20 Hourly
