Design, configure, and deploy software implementation project. Identify and assess business system needs by working with project management to create logical solutions using JDE applications. Perform research to create functional and technical designs to meet business needs. Prepare development estimates and timelines, complete the development and ensure timely delivery of quality system applications. Perform code review of offshore development team as well as create technical designs to meet the business requirements. Supervise team of developers, manage priorities, review technical specifications (SOX compliant) and develop output, provide feedback and code reviews. Collaborate with business and/or functional analysts and development manager on complex business requirements to assess functional solutions options, configure the environment to test options and complete the design development and testing of final business solutions. This is a hybrid role, three days in office and two days at home.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Five (5) years of progressive experience in the position offered, or as a JD Edwards Developer or technical consultant, or a related position. Five (5) years of experience must include: Enterprise One (E1) JDE Applications - Functional areas including distribution, finance, procurement, manufacturing, inventory and logistics; Enterprise One (E1) JDE Technical Development - Form Design, Report Design, Power Forms, Sub Forms, Portals, C Business Functions, Java, Web Services, Oracle Embedded BI Publisher, SQL scripting, SQL queries, UPK and One View; Developing and facilitating data conversions, interfaces and EDI transactions as well as preparing detailed documentation of changes to system programs/reports – technical specifications (in accordance with SOX requirements); Developing and executing test scenarios for application logic, user interfaces, data interfaces and reports; Experience as developer of at least three JD Edwards upgrades (9.0 or higher) or implementation(s) projects for clients in the retail industry. Annual Salary: $151,424.00
