Java Backend Developer

Role: Java Backend Developer Location: Charlotte, NC Overview: As a Java Developer, you will collaborate with Development Project Managers on the delivery of requirements, and own architecture and data model design for projects across the business. You should have experience with Spring Boot and SQL databases as well as Microservices and REST API, and be comfortable using JavaScript, jQuery, React Native, and ReactJS.
Responsibilities: Responsible for architecture and data model design Collaborate with Development Project Managers to ensure requirements are met and delivered accurately. Coordinate implementation activities across a broad range of functions and departments; work with stakeholder groups to identify, arrange, and/or deliver training needs. Backend development with Java and Spring Boot, Microservices Requirements: Experienced in IT Software Development, especially in Java 8, Core Java Concepts and Advanced Java, Collections/Exceptions Experienced in design patterns - Spring IOC/AOP/MVC, advanced multithreading, Concurrency in Java, JDBC JMS, Spring Skilled in working on low latency applications. Experienced with SQL databases. An excellent problem solver with strong analytical skills (a must!) Bringing business knowledge and trade lifecycle experience in one or more areas to the team - Securities, Fixed Income, Equities, Derivatives, etc. It would be great if you also had: Domain experience in FX (foreign exchange) trade application systems.
