They must also be employee-oriented and patient to deal with difficult employees. This person must be highly focused, so that they do not stray from the efficient and effective resolution of the employees' issue(s).Responsibilities:Serve as the first point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance over the phone or email.Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by employees.Walk the employee through the problem-solving process.Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.Provide accurate information on IT products or services.Record events and problems and their resolution in logs.Follow-up and update employee status and information.Pass on any feedback or suggestions by employees to the appropriate internal team member(s).Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures.Installs and supports products, processes and hardware related to execution of supported employee IT systems and services.Promptly and properly document activities and communications associated with employees.Must complete projects as assigned by Management.Skills & Characteristics:Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Working knowledge of PC / LAN hardware troubleshooting and basic knowledge of workstation software.Working knowledge of Windows networking and operating systems.Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products.Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.Excellent communication skills.Employee-oriented and cool-tempered.About Pro Pac and Qual PacFounded in 1971, Professional Packaging Systems (Pro Pac) brings deep knowledge and expertise to provide the best packaging solutions for our customers.
