GENERAL DESCRIPTION The IT Support Assistant is a born-again believer in Jesus Christ. They will daily provides a variety of tasks to ensure all students, faculty and staff are able to utilize the technology at their disposal. Task include, but are not limited to, IT service tickets, planning, organization and overseeing the implementation of projects. minor networking support, computer repairs and software support. Responsibilities: 1. Promptly offer technical support and troubleshooting assistance.
2. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues remotely, if needed.
3. Collaborate with both internal personnel and external support for complex issues.
4. Document all ticket interactions and resolutions accurately and timely.
5. Check active tickets for related or duplicate issues to streamline resolution processes.
6. Communicate clearly with all team members to ensure understanding of technical matters.
7. Assist with the deployment, configuring and maintenance of the IT infrastructure.
8. Handle administrative task promptly, such as user account management and active directory upkeep.
9. Perform routine maintenance, including software updates, patch management, and system backups.
10. Create and update technical documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing.
11. Stay current, via annual PD and certification, with technological trends, industry standards.
12. Have a working knowledge of computer networking technologies, modern Microsoft Windows operating
system and basic Windows server functions.
13. Have a knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google productivity suites.
14. Be able to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly.
Requirements: Be in full agreement to the PCS Statement of Faith.
Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
Familiarity with technology equipment and basic repairs.
Basic understanding of operating systems and networking.
Knowledge of computer hardware / software or a willingness to learn.

5. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, they that are saved unto the resurrection of life,and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation (John 5:28-29) .
6. We believe God created the sacrament of marriage to be the union of one man and one woman and is a reflection of Christ's relationship to his church (Ephesians 5:25-27) .
7. We believe that God wonderfully created each person as distinctly male or female. These two distinct, complimentary genders together reflect the image and nature of God (Genesis 1:27) .
8. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 8:9; I Corinthians 12:12-13;Galatians 3:26-28) .
9. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life (Romans 8:13-14; I Corinthians 3:16; I Corinthians 6:19-20; Ephesians 4:30; Ephesians 5:18) .
10. We believe that Christians' top priorities are the Great Commandment and the Great Commission: that we should seek for ourselves and our students that we love the Lord with all our being and love our neighbor asourselves and seek to make disciples of the Lord Jesus in all the world (Matthew22:36-40; Matthew 28:18-20) .

The Bible itself, as the inspired and infallible Word of God that speaks with final authority concerning truth, morality and the proper conduct of mankind, is the sole and final source of all that we believe. For purposes of Portland Christian School's faith, doctrine, practice, policy and discipline, our Board of Directors is the final interpretive authority on the Bible's application .
