The Role:
We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic and supportive IT team. In this role, you will be the go-to person for all internal employees, ensuring they have the technical support they need to succeed. Your responsibilities will include providing exceptional customer service, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining inventory, and participating in various IT projects. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and has a passion for technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding support to our internal staff, ensuring their technology needs are met promptly and efficiently.
- Install, maintain, and repair a variety of hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, and phones.
- Perform user administration tasks, managing accounts and permissions within our systems.
- Provide training to staff on new software and hardware, ensuring they can utilize technology effectively.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by staff, using remote support tools when necessary.
- Manage support requests through our ticketing system, ensuring timely and accurate communication with users.
- Gather feedback from users and communicate it to the IT team to improve our technology, systems, and processes.
- Travel, as needed, to provide in-person support and training to our field staff.
- Contribute to additional IT projects aimed at enhancing our company's technological capabilities.
Qualifications:
- A positive, can-do attitude with a passion for helping others.
- Strong technical skills, with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Experience with Google applications, user administration, and networking is a plus.
- A willingness to work on-call hours and overtime as needed.
