Full job description Job Summary: The IT Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of IT projects within strict deadlines and budgets. They will collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, manage resources, and ensure project success. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to navigate diverse environments, particularly in the agricultural sector. Some of the job functions include:
Plan, execute, and finalize IT projects, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budgets. Define project objectives, scope, and resources in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Coordinate team efforts and third-party contractors to deliver projects according to plan. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, and requirements documentation. Monitor project milestones, conduct risk assessments, and implement necessary changes to ensure project success. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management or related field. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred. Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification preferred. Certifications in Cisco (CCNA) preferred. Minimum 5 years of IT project management experience. Experience deploying IT infrastructure, particularly in rural settings. Technical proficiency in project management software, cloud platforms, network configurations, and security protocols. Familiarity with Windows 10/11, office productivity suites, and Linux. Physical Demands and Work Environment: This position primarily works in an office setting but may occasionally need to be present in a field, Packing shed or shop setting. There is low exposure to physical risk in the office setting. There is moderate to high exposure to physical risk when visiting areas where large equipment is being operated. There is moderate exposure from other various equipment and activity within the machinery shops and other areas surrounding. There is moderate to high exposure to risk when visiting fields or packing sheds.
