It Operations Manager

Vaco IT in Atlanta is actively looking for an IT Operations Manager for our enterprise client based out of Gwinnett for a PERMANENT role! This will start out as onsite for the 1st 2-3 months, and will then move to a HYBRID model afterwards. I'm looking for those with a Network/Infrastructure/Security Management background, Azure cloud migration experience, Vendor/MSP Management, MS environment (Azure, O365 + Intune), End User Support, etc. Candidates MUST be open to a flexible "support" schedule (nights/weekends when needed).

**No Corp/C2C/Vendors please as this is a permanent role** JOB SUMMARY and PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES This Operations Manager will lead the design and implementation of a robust and scalable infrastructure to support business operations.
Oversee the day-to-day activities of IT managed service providers.
Actively participates in the company's change management/change control process.
Oversee the configuration, optimization and maintenance of network infrastructure including routers, firewalls, switches, and VoIP.
Ensure consistency and standardization of IT infrastructure across locations.
Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with a diverse group of staff members, stakeholders, and customers.
Analyze technical needs across the environment, tailoring best practices and leveraging industry-standard technologies in developing solutions to those needs.
Serve as an escalation point for manage service provider on infrastructure and operations issues.
Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding, moves and terminations.
Maintain hardened configurations for general health and security of Microsoft environment including, but not limited to Azure, Microsoft 365, Intune, etc.
Maintain process for tracking and managing IT assets, including hardware, software and licenses.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
Relevant industry certifications such as ITIL, Azure.
Experience in systems administration/engineering, primarily Microsoft desktop, server, and cloud systems.
Thorough knowledge and understanding of Active Directory, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 platforms.
Hands on experience with tools security tools such as DLP, EDR, SIEM.
Experiencing creating and maintaining policies.
