IT Business Partner, Gaithersburg The IT Business Partner for Gaithersburg site is responsible for the successful integration of digitalization solutions involving all systems at the BioNTech Manufacturing site. This is achieved by selecting, tailoring and extending the global strategy to the specific local needs and driving the local project management for the implementation of these systems. The role closely collaborates with the global system architect, demand managers and digital project management to locally align all projects, changes and releases impacting Gaithersburg manufacturing site. Primary Responsibilities Lead and manage the introduction, upgrade, and integration of digitalization solutions in Gaithersburg by working closely with global and local stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives, standards, and regulatory requirements. Act as an extension of the IT Business Partnering team dedicated to the Gaithersburg site, with a strategic partnering position in the site leadership team. Lead and oversee the development of processes and blueprints required for selecting and customizing software solutions, in collaboration with local and global business and IT stakeholders. Assume the role of local system owner to ensure smooth implementation, reliable operation, and compliance with regulatory standards. Facilitate data conversations and requirements gathering, leveraging expertise in data definitions, quality, and processing. Responsible for assuring the site's alignment with the BioNTech data governance standards Participate the global IT Business Partner community for best practice sharing and strategical alignment. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the site's technical landscape, data infrastructure, and processing, while ensuring that solutions comply with regulations, privacy laws, industry standards and BioNTech standards. Collaborate with the site IT Operations team for implementation and ongoing support activities. Coordinate and oversight operational IT Demands for the site. Requirements: Bachelor's degree  in computer science, engineering, business administration or equivalent with at least 7 years of relevant experience in pharma, operations and GxP in IT or process and project management Experienced manufacturing project and integration manager with know-how about GMP systems Strong project, stakeholder and communication management skills, leadership capabilities Very good pharma and biotechnology process knowledge GxP and computer system validation knowledge Preferred Requirement: Master's degree  Benefits for you: BioNTech US is committed to employee wellbeing and offers best-in-class benefits & HR programs to support an inclusive & diverse workforce.
