Responsibilities
• Supports Columbia CU Mission and Corporate Values• Possesses working knowledge of investment and insurance products and services offered• Coordinates meeting schedules with clients, prospects, and product providers• Takes orders from clients and executes them• Answers client service questions and handles investment and insurance transactions• Develops and maintains long-term relationships with clients• Prospects for new clients and attends events/seminars• Generates new sales appointments and increases client engagement• Provides research support and creates/updats reports• Ensures compliance with regulations and assists in audit preparation
Requirements
• Proficient knowledge of investment and insurance industry• Holds Series 7 and 63/65 or 66 Registrations and State Insurance License• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field• 2-5 years' experience in financial services and/or investment industry• Pass Broker Dealer's background review• Ability to prioritize and work independently or as part of a team• Detail oriented with strong organizational and client services skills• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Proficient with MS Office Suite• Self-starter with a passion for investments and insurance
