Catalent Pharma Solutions in Kansas City, MO is hiring an Inventory Control Associate II. This role supports clinical trial projects, ensuring that all work carried out is in compliance with regulatory requirements, good manufacturing practices (cGMP) and standard operating procedures (SOPs). The Inventory Control Associate II will also support other areas of operation as needed and as requested in order to support the needs of the business. This is a full-time position: Monday-Friday, 7AM-3:30PM

Catalent's Kansas City facility is home to our Oral & Specialty Drug Delivery, Biologics Analytical Services and Clinical Supply Services businesses. The site provides a range of integrated services for oral solid dosage forms, from formulation development and analytical testing to clinical and commercial-scale manufacture. The Kansas City facility is a Center-of-Excellence for our Biologics Analytical Services business. Our talented team has over 25 years of experience providing analytical services for stand-alone and integrated biologics projects. The Role Cycle counts and location checks
Completes data entries into the appropriate site inventory systems
Creates and identifies locations for other departments
Provides inventory related support for other departments
Follows safety and manual handling guidelines
Maintains general housekeeping
Properly and safely uses pallet jack, powered pallet jack, reach trucks, stock picker, JLG lifts, and all man lifts
Makes material moves in the appropriate inventory systems with minor assistance
Performs inventory transfers using appropriate controlled forms
Performs additional duties as assigned
The Candidate High School Diploma or Equivalent
Previous warehouse experience with emphasis on inventory management as well as previous certifications using PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) equipment; Must operate Powered Industrial Equipment (forklifts, stock lifts, etc.)
Frequent sitting, standing, walking and reading of written documents and use of computer monitor screen
Lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds
Requirement to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
20/20 corrected vision; Able to distinguish colors
Position may require extended shifts or overtime to meet deadlines
Handling of controlled substance product - a background check and further DEA screening is required
