Kelly Services is hiring for our manufacturing client in Warren, Ohio for a Inventory Clerk.
This is a Temp to Hire role with our Manufacturing client that specializes in making wireless remote controls.
The inventory Clerk role is a little more skilled on the computer than just a warehouse position picking parts. This person will need to have strong verbal and written communication skills that they can work with internal customers.
Emails to buyers about parts being low, being able to use an ERP system and navigating through the system to enter in information regarding the jobs.
There will be job pulling for production work, being able to use a scan gun, walking up and down the aisles no more than 30-40 pounds to lift. Depending on the individual's skill set it could be more office than warehouse work. Ideally need a strong individual to do more the of the computer work.
Required: Computer skills and ability to learn to use hand held scan gun.
Job: Recommends and develops local strategies related to inventory management. Monitors and audits transactions performed and process created in the company's ERP system .
Develops and maintains cycle count activity, involved in physical count once a year. Performs extensive analysis of inventory transactions and reports to identify, process, system and training deficiencies Maintains inventory data integrity and tracks accuracy of inventory Designs, implements, and tests internal controls, documentation, reporting, training, systems and solutions to drive inventory accuracy Establishes partnerships with other departments to build inventory accuracy, standard procedures, controls, practices and systems. Participates in the development and deployment of new processes, policies, and procedures across the site to create breakthrough impact on the highest opportunity areas of the supply chain Accountable for daily site logistics operations, processes, workflows, and escalation management through proactive interaction with key stakeholders including order fulfillment, materials management, and other supply chain teams.
Hours: 7am-8am start time with end of 3:30pm-4:30pm (8 hour shift with 1/2 hour or 1 hour lunch)=can work 7a-4p with 1 hour lunch, 7a-3:30pm with 1/2 hour lunch or start as late as 8am/employee chooses consistent schedule.
Pay: $15-17/hr. starting DOE
Dress attire: Casual-long pants, t shirts, closed toe shoes.
