As an Inventory Analyst, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing excess stock. You will analyze sales data, monitor inventory levels, and collaborate with various teams to forecast demand accurately. Your insights will drive inventory replenishment decisions and contribute to the overall success of our ecommerce, wholesale, and Amazon operations.
Key Responsibilities
**Inventory Management:**Monitor inventory levels and product performance across geographies and channels to identify trends and opportunities.
Develop and maintain a log of inventory movements to measure shrinkage and explain discrepancies between our ERP and the WMS at different warehouse locations.
Implement inventory control measures to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.
Collaborate with Inventory Planning, Production, and Supply Chain teams to ensure timely replenishment of inventory.
**Data Analysis:**Analyze sales data and inventory reports to identify patterns and demand fluctuations.
Work closely with Finance, Planning and Fulfillment teams to understand promotional activities and product launches that may impact demand to provide a weekly forecast to the different warehouse locations.
Generate regular reports and dashboards to communicate inventory insights to key stakeholders.
**Process Improvement:**Continuously review and improve inventory management processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Identify opportunities for automation and optimization within the inventory management system.
**Cross-Functional Collaboration:**Collaborate with Planning, Production, Fulfillment, and Supply Chain teams to coordinate inventory movements and resolve any discrepancies.
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to align inventory strategies with business goals.
Qualifications
Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in a retail business with a good mix of owned ecommerce and wholesale channels.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, such as Excel, SQL, or other inventory management software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Knowledge of inventory optimization principles and supply chain best practices.
Experience with forecasting and demand planning methodologies is a plus.
