Summary :
The TekniPlex Corporate Human Resources team is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as an HR Communications Summer Intern. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in developing communications plans and content with a focus on communication strategies within the human resources arena. During your 8 to 10 weeks in this role, you will actively participate in building a playbook for communications for the roll out of specific projects across the US organization. You will have the opportunity to interface with subject matter experts within the function as well as engage with HR team members in the field. Bring your A game and learn valuable critical thinking and planning skills and gain insight to the business processes within the HR function.
Responsibilities and Learning Opportunities: Assist in developing and implementing internal communication plans and strategies to effectively convey HR policies, programs, and initiatives. Create engaging content for various communication channels, including email newsletters, intranet articles, social media posts, and internal announcements. Collaborate with HR team members to ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all communication materials. Support the planning and execution of HR events, including employee engagement activities, training sessions, and town hall meetings. Conduct research on best practices in HR communication and propose innovative ideas to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction. Assist in the management of HR communication platforms, including updating content, monitoring feedback, and analyzing metrics to measure effectiveness. Provide support to the HR department as needed, including data entry, filing, and scheduling meetings. Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Ability Requirements: Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program, preferably in communications, human resources, business administration, or a related field. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with communication tools and platforms. Creativity and initiative to propose new ideas and contribute to the development of communication strategies. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment. Previous experience in HR, communications, marketing, or related fields is a plus but not required. Duration and Compensation:
This is a full-time, paid internship position for the duration of the summer months. The exact start and end dates are flexible based on the candidate's availability and academic calendar. The position is physically located in our Wayne, PA offices with an expectation of being in the office 3-4 days per week.
