THE FOCUS IS YOU: We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated International Tax Senior Staff to help lead our growing International Tax group. This position will focus on executing International Consulting & Compliance to our corporate clients along with international matters related to individuals. As our UHY International group of member firms continues to significantly grow, you will gain exposure to a variety of complex international tax projects and unique situations.
WHAT YOU WILL DO Regular duties include (but are not limited to):
Prepare and/or assist with complex tax returns Demonstrates knowledge of all technical aspects of the job, including related knowledge of necessary systems and procedures Handles more complex tasks and projects within discipline/ function Ensures top quality client service and oversees client service performance of staff Assists management in planning and managing engagement activity and follows through to achieve results Builds client relationships and maintains smooth working relationship Responds timely and accurately to internal team and client requests Seeks new ideas and better ways of accomplishing job and company goals WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Experience
1+ years in relevant position Education
Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent technology experience Bachelor's in Accounting (for Audit or Tax) Master's degree or 150 credits completed, in designated states License / Certification
Actively working toward passing the CPA Exam, or relevant certification for respective discipline as soon as possible, if certification is not already attained Must maintain required CPE credits annually Legal / Compliance
