Required Skills:
Internal Software Engineer, BPE Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain analytics and software applications, following company standards for software engineering process to design, develop, document, review, test, inspect, and release code.
Provide guidance on architecture and design, and define processes for launching solutions and features.
Use engineering skill sets in a business organization to drive meaningful business impact by looking at problems through an operational lens.
Partner with cross-functional product and analytics teams to influence and contribute to the direction of large scale strategic projects as well as solve operational problems at scale.
Communicate progress and plans, raising critical issues with peers, manager, and cross-functional partners in a timely manner.
Lead and participate in critical technical, design, and product discussions with leaders across the organization and company.
Telecommuting is permitted from anywhere in the United States.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Requires Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Foreign equivalent accepted. Requires 24 months of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Requires 24 months of experience involving the following:
Coding in at least one of the following industry-standard languages: C, C++, Java, or C#
Building large-scale infrastructure applications
Relational databases and SQL
Building maintainable and testable codes bases including API design and unit testing techniques
Software development tools: Code editors (VIM or Emacs), and revision control systems (Subversion, GIT, or Perforce)
Linux, UNIX, or other *nix-like OS including file manipulation and simple commands
Data processing, programming languages, databases, networking, operating systems, computer graphics, or human-computer interaction
Applying algorithms and core computer science concepts to real world systems as evidenced by recognizing and matching patterns from different areas of computer science in production systems
Distributed systems.
Public Compensation:
$230,545/year to $240,240/year + bonus + equity + benefits
