Job Description As an HR intern with the Corporate HR Business Partner team, you will gain an overall understanding of core HR processes and the role of Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP). This internship is working in the Farmington Hills and Plymouth offices.
Responsibilities will include:
Support with division and site HR projects including new hire orientation
Assist with student programs including summer intern program activities & events
Research and collect data for various HR initiatives
Support continuous improvements for the site HR team
Develop/Facilitate associate development/engagement activities
Act as liaison between intern recruiting team and HR Partners
Open to full-time in the summer, flexible schedule during the school year
Qualifications Required:
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university and pursuing a Bachelors or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
At least Junior class level standing
Minimum overall GPA of at least 3.0
Preferred:
Prior co-op or internship experience in HR
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivation and willingness to take initiative
