WHAT YOU'LL DO As part of the Engineering Research & Development Department, the Airframe & Powerplant Intern will participate as a valuable member of Epic Aircraft's R&D team. This is a paid summer internship available to students currently enrolled in an Accredited A&P program. The intern will gain real-world experience doing a variety of tasks related to Epic E1000 GX Aircraft. Additional tasks may include:
Assist experienced A&P mechanics in troubleshooting and repairing aircraft by carefully following oral or written instructions and detailed written procedures Remove, clean, inspect, and replace aircraft components following training and written procedures Ensure the work area is maintained in a clean and safe manner Clean and detail aircraft as needed WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM Required: Must be currently enrolled in an Accredited A&P Program, and working towards getting your Airframe & Powerplant Mechanics License. Avionics Experience helpful - training is provided A "can-do" teachable attitude with a willingness to help any person on the team with any task Excellent attention to detail Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work well with a team Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU Paid Summer A&P Internship position Gain real-world work experience and On-the-job training Advancement/Future Full-Time Opportunities Friendly team environment and fun company events Please Note: Due to a large number of applicants, we will only contact you if you are selected for an interview.
