HCT seeks an experienced nursing leader to serve as the ICU Nurse Manager at a 100+ bed hospital in California.
The Manager's responsibilities include:
Providing leadership and motivating nursing professionals to develop their practice, knowledge and skills
Collaborating and coordinating with other members of the health care team to ensure quality patient care
Quality improvement, fiscal productivity and patient satisfaction.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in nursing (BSN) required
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of direct, clinical experience in ICU/Critical Care combined with minimum of 3 years progressive management experience; strong communication skills; leads through collaborative leadership style and effective interpersonal skills when working with physicians and staff
Union experience required
License: Current CA RN license required
Certifications: BLS from the American Heart Association required
Computer Skills: Microsoft Office suite experience
EMR: Cerner experience preferred

All expenses are covered while on assignment including housing, airfare, transportation and trips home during the assignment.
