Job Title: Ambulance Director (Long-Term Interim Position, Potential for Permanency)

Responsibilities: Provide visionary leadership and operational management to ensure robust administrative procedures and effective management of day-to-day operations. Actively engage in hands-on operational management and high-level administrative and strategic responsibilities. Manage all aspects of Ambulance operations including personnel management, training, performance evaluation, and compliance with regulatory and safety standards. Collaborate on the development and implementation of policies, operational guidelines, and strategic growth plans. Ensure the financial health of the operations, including managing budgets and achieving business goals. Maintain strong relationships with other first responders, hospital personnel, and community leaders. Requirements Qualifications: Must hold a bachelor's degree in emergency management services, Business Management, Public/Business Administration, or a related field. Graduate from an accredited paramedic school. At least five years of experience in a managerial or directorial role within a medium-to-large EMS system (annual response volume of 30,000+). Extensive knowledge of EMS systems. Proven expertise in financial planning, organizational development, personnel management, and strategic planning. Experience with public affairs is preferred. Benefits Compensation: Full-time interim position with the potential to become permanent. Salary range: $110,000 - $150,000, depending on experience. Additional Information: Reports directly to the CEO. The facility includes approximately 100 beds and is part of a larger healthcare system.
