Responsibilities
• Administrating claims for professional and general liabilities• Determining all expense reserves and coordinating with various departments to settle claims• Monitoring defense activities and managing and maintaining records regarding losses and risk management• Developing reports for statistical claims and monitoring claim trends• Administrating damage recovery and coordinating with claimants to resolve customer issues• Maintaining the company's insurance policies and serving as a liaison between clients and insurance companies• Serving as an insurance expert and making recommendations for new insurance policies• Preparing and monitoring insurance budgets and reporting on exceptional circumstances• Filing claims, entering data, and updating databases with current daily information• Reviewing claim submissions and determining eligibility and level of coverage• Coordinating insurance process across departments, tracking claims, and reporting on aggregate metrics• Supporting and mentoring staff in insurance resources, standards, data, and contacts• Other duties as assigned
Requirements
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at a proficient level• Knowledge of general office equipment (copier, fax, phone systems, etc.)• Knowledge of typical business correspondence (grammar, structure, punctuation, spelling, etc.) at a proficient level• Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.)• Professional customer service skills• Self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, and a team player• Time management and time-critical prioritization skills• Bachelor's Degree required• 3-5 years of directly related or closely related experience
