Responsibilities
• Teach to a set curriculum plan with clear learning outcomes and competencies• Prepare course syllabus in advance• Teach all class sessions and respond to student inquiries and assignments in a timely manner• Coordinate with other instructors for curriculum continuity• Adapt instructional techniques based on feedback• Complete instructor onboarding and relevant training• Ensure course materials meet accessibility requirements• Observe privacy laws and policies• Participate in instructor meetings and information sessions• PCE courses are generally 10 weeks in duration
Requirements
• Minimum five years of professional experience relevant to the course topics• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills• Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds• Willingness to teach with minimal supervision and maintain professionalism• Legal authorization to work in the United States• Desired qualifications include prior teaching experience and online teaching/presenting experience
