Full job description EMPLOYMENT TERMS: Full-time, non-tenure track position with optional summer
PRIMARY DUTY: The primary responsibility of this faculty member is teaching undergraduate mathematics courses using inclusive teaching practices that engage students from diverse backgrounds.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Effectively teach courses in mathematics, statistics, and/or related classes at the undergraduate level. Advise students in these areas Participate in service and student support activities Be willing to work as a team on teaching and department activities Perform other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: Education: Master's degree in mathematics, statistics, mathematics education or related field and a minimum of 18 graduate hours of mathematics coursework.
Experience: Teaching experience in mathematics and/or statistics (including online teaching experience).
WORKING CONDITIONS: Collaborative academic environment in a Mathematics and Statistics Department at a regional, comprehensive university focused on student learning.



SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise student employees as assigned.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to complete classroom functions and lift up to 20 pounds
